Cucumber Swadisht is one of the most vigorous plants and heavy yielding hybrids. Used as a common vegetable in salads, it’s rich in fibre. Its fruits are crispy, bitter free, attractive and cylindrical in shape. Small seeded with indigenous taste, it is about 22-25cm in length and around 300-400g in weight. Fruits of this hybrid are light green with white specks.

Garden Care
Germination Instructions
- Sow the seeds directly into soil placed in pots or growbags.
- Ensure that the planters/pots/growbags used are at least an inch deep.
- Fruiting starts in 42-45 days after sowing.
Maintenance Instructions
- It usually takes 85-90 days until harvest.
- Keep soil evenly moist to prevent the fruit from becoming bitter.
- While picking cucumbers, leave a small, one-inch section of stem attached to the cucumber.
