Germination Instructions
- Sow the seeds directly into soil placed in pots or planters.
- Ensure that the planters/pots used are at least 12 inches deep.
- Seed germination starts after 5 to 6 days, and seedlings are ready for transplantation within 35 days. At this time, the transplantation the broccoli plant must have 4-5 leaves.
Maintenance Instructions
- It takes 100-150 days to harvest.
- Garden pruners or shears are used to cut the head about an inch from the tip.
- Broccoli should be harvested before the flowers on the head bloom bright yellow.
- Make sure the weather is not too hot when planting.
- Cut the central head with five to six inches of stem when ready.
