Sansevieria Moonshine
Sansevieria Trifasciata
Interestingly named ‘Mother-in-law’s Tongue’, this plant is known to be one of the most popular houseplants. It can take a lot of neglect and has the ability to grow in a wide range of conditions indoors - from relatively dark spaces to bright interiors.
Get To Know Your Plant
It forms dense stands, spreading by way of its creeping stem. Its leaves are erect, fleshy, sharply-pointed and sword-shaped. Sansevieria will simply cease to produce new leaves if it flowers. Flowering occurs only on old mature plants and is not a major ornamental feature.
Care Instructions
- Place potted plants outdoors during the warm months of the year for improved growing conditions.
- Rot will occur if over watered.
- It prefers to be under-potted.
- Try to water the plant in the morning between 8 and 10 am.
