Aloe Vera is widely grown as an ornamental plant that bears yellow flowers. Its succulence enables the species to survive in areas of low natural rainfall. The leaves’ colour vary from green to grey-green, with some varieties showing white flecks on their upper and lower stem surfaces. The plant may be used in making of lotion, gel, soap or cosmetic products for skin use as a topical medication.
