Cocopeat has the excellent moisture-holding capacity, while perlite helps in aeration to prevent root rot and fungal infections. Usage Instructions
- Prepare your pots/garden beds two weeks prior to planting seeds so that the manure can age appropriately to create an optimum environment for germination
- Add as much water as the mixture will absorb
- Fill your seedling pots with Seed Germination Mix
- Add seeds and sprinkle a thin layer of the mix on top
- Gently sprinkle water on the newly planted seeds with a small watering can. Ensure that the top layer stays moist
- To speed up germination, cover the pots with a plastic wrap to retain moisture
- When you see the first signs of green, remove the cover
- To store, let the mix dry out and put into a bucket, storage bin, or clean trash bin. Keep it dry until you're ready to use it again
