Also known as ‘China Aster’ or ‘Annual Aster’, this plant performs well in patio pots, colour bowls and mixed container plantings. It produces 5 to 7 cm double-blooms and is an easy-to-grow annual that produces big yields. However, it’s not recommended for landscape plantings.

Germination Instructions
- Sow the seeds directly into soil placed in pots, planters or growbags.
- Ensure that the planters/pots/growbags used are at least 6 inches deep.
- Germination starts in 7-10 days.
- Make sure the spacing between seeds is 6-8 inches.
Maintenance Instructions
- The bloom time is 90-120 days.
- Cover the seeds lightly once sown.
- It’s best suited for 10 cm pots and packs.
- It adapts readily to a wide variety of soils.
- Tall varieties may be given some support.
